Rebirth
Staring out at a great expanse,
a space so wide,
you wish to be swallowed up whole by it,
comforted by the soft soil tumbling on your skin like old coffee grind,
layering a delicate weight on your body; a weighted blanket from nature,
sealing off the noise, the distraction,
replaced by deafening silence.
Finally, your mouth filled with soil,
you can breathe.
